After 3 and a-half months of living in Guyana I have kept a mental list of these acts of kindness or things that always make me smile and I would like to share some of them with you now: After my first bus ride in Georgetown I never thought that I would be able to take the bus alone…
with the loud music, unofficial bus stops, fast driving, weaving in and out of traffic and crammed seats, I was pretty overwhelmed.
Ever since, she always asks me how I am doing, or why I’m not riding my bike, etc.
It’s nice to know that I have become a familiar face for these people as well.
